On May 01, 2012 Gary Burke passed away suddenly from a heart attack. Gary was a young 53 years old when he passed and has been sorely missed by his friends, family and colleagues ever since.

Gary was an avid golfer his entire life and excelled at the sport from an early age. In 2013, Gary's family founded this golf tournament in his memory and in support of ongoing heart disease research and awareness. All proceeds from this event are donated to the American Heart Association.
