The American Heart Association’s annual STEM Goes Red experience is designed to bring students out of the classroom and into an environment where they can learn directly from local leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Unfortunately, a troubling equity gap exists in STEM, from the lack of young women pursuing STEM-related degrees to the low number of diversity in STEM careers. Opportunities are lacking for too many bright young minds of diverse backgrounds. The American Heart Association is working to close these opportunity gaps through STEM Goes Red and your personal donation and/or corporate sponsorship can help us bring this experience to local high school students.
